- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account
- Payment information: Processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers
- Brokerage connection: OAuth tokens provided by your brokerage to authorize trade execution. We never receive or store your brokerage username or password
- Support communications: Any messages you send us via email or in-app support
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, traders followed, risk limits configured
- Trade data: Records of trades executed through the platform, including symbols, quantities, prices, and timestamps
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, IP address
- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to improve the service

3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Brokerage providers: We transmit trade instructions to your connected brokerage through their official API to execute trades on your behalf
- Payment processor: Stripe processes your subscription payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
- Aggregated trader data: If you opt in as a Trader, your trade history and performance statistics (win rate, average return, etc.) will be displayed publicly on the platform. Your real name and personal information will not be displayed unless you choose to share it
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Brokerage connections use OAuth 2.0 — we never store your brokerage password
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant)
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
- Database encryption at rest
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion:
- Account data: Deleted within 30 days
- Trade history: Anonymized and retained for platform statistics
- Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years)
- Brokerage tokens: Immediately revoked and deleted

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
